Summers end is near and there hasn’t been a better time to save money on school supplies, clothing, cell phones and laptops. 16 states will be offering the sales tax exempt shopping event this year. That is one down from 2018, as North Carolina sales tax holidays have been repealed.
Tax free weekend is a great opportunity to stack savings on multiple products, so keep in mind it isn’t just for back-to-school. Certain states like Florida offer tax-free on hurricane preparedness equipment and generators. Other states offer tax-free on Energy Star/WaterSense products. Make sure you check the dates next to your state below.
